Are you an experienced Office Administrator with a passion for supporting business operations and ensuring smooth office functionality? We’re looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team!

About the Role

As an Office Administrator, your primary responsibilities will encompass purchasing, finance, property management, and general administrative support. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the office, assisting with office administration, supporting our sales team, and maintaining smooth communication between all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchasing:

Process customer orders and place orders with suppliers
Verify pricing and stock levels
Monitor the progress of orders to ensure timely delivery

2. Administration Support:

Assist with the function of our sales team, carrying out administrative duties
Record petty cash expenditure
Post supplier and customer invoices to the electronic ledger using Sage 50 Accounts
Assist with Property Management tasks

3. General Support:

Provide support to the accounts and sales departments
Handle incoming calls, emails, and voicemails, allocating tasks to the relevant team members
Ensure smooth running of general office administration

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential Qualifications:
GCSE Maths and English at Grade B or above
3 other GCSEs Grades A-C (or equivalent)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts (Essential)
Strong IT and computer skills, including use of the internet and office applications
Experience:
Proven experience in an office administration role, preferably with purchasing and logistics experience
Familiarity with basic finance administration tasks (petty cash, invoicing, etc.)
Key Competencies:
Excellent written and spoken English
Confidence and clarity when speaking on the telephone
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with customer concerns
Interest or awareness in design is desirable
