The Potted Lobster is one of Northumberland's best-loved restaurants, renowned for fresh local seafood, seasonal ingredients and exceptional hospitality. Situated in the heart of Bamburgh, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding food in a relaxed, welcoming environment to guests from across the UK.

We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with high-quality ingredients, thrives in a busy service, and wants to continue developing their career in a professional kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing

Running your own section and maintaining consistently high standards
Preparing and presenting dishes to specification during service
Supporting the senior kitchen team with menu development and daily specials
Ensuring food safety, cleanliness and HACCP procedures are followed at all times
Assisting with stock control, ordering and waste management
Helping to train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants
Working collaboratively to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready for the next step
Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and quality cooking
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy kitchen
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices
Reliability, professionalism and strong teamwork skills
