Location of Role: Carnbane, Newry

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Hours of Work: Monday through to Saturday – 5 out of 6 days on a rota 07.30 - 16.00

Role Purpose: To assist in the overall production and dispatch of customer orders and to adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures always

Responsibilities

To accurately pick and pack orders using voice picking unit
To minimise missed sales and losses to the company through accurate picking
To accurately maintain the bulk stock locations through proper use of the RF handheld unit.
To work efficiently as part of a team
To maintain high levels of health and safety standards
To build and pack cages at a reasonable height as designated by your manager ensuring all heavy goods are placed at the bottom of cage
Be responsible for the upkeep and condition of your voice picking unit and headset, ensuring its security and ensuring to log off when not in use placing back in the holding station at end of shift

Criteria

Essential

Grade C or above in Math's and English or equivalent
Experience of working in a chilled and freezer environment
Physical and manual dexterity
Ability to work on own initiative
Flexible approach to work
Willingness to undertake training

Desirable

NVQ Level 3 in warehousing/retail
Forklift License - Counterbalance/reach truck
2-3 years’ experience working in a similar environment
Experience of voice activated picking.
