Maypole Construction is a Bangor based family run company, established in 1960. With experience in all aspects of construction, we pride ourselves on offering a professional, prompt service with high quality workmanship and attention to detail.

We provide a multi-skilled team of specialist builders that serves in the North Down area and wider Belfast, along with reliable sub-contractors to enable us to carry out a high end finish to best suit your style and needs. We have a range of domestic and commercial clients with varying needs and are proud to be in a position to be able to add resource to our experienced team.

Role Description

Your role will involve collaborating with the construction team and ensuring the completion of projects to meet quality standards.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Joiner at Maypole Construction located in the North Down. The Site Joiner will be responsible for tasks such as carpentry, using power tools, framing, working with hand tools, and finish carpentry. The role will involve working on construction sites and collaborating with other team members.

Qualifications

Must have 5 years experience following gaining NVQ qualifications
Carpentry skills including framing and finish carpentry
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
Experience working on construction sites
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong attention to detail and quality
Excellent problem-solving skills
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Relevant certifications or training in carpentry or construction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
