Operations Manager / Second-in-Command Ramsey Roofing Limited – Wokingham Salary: £45,000 - £65,000+ depending on experience, plus vehicle and benefits. Ramsey Roofing Limited is seeking an experienced roofing professional to become our Operations Manager and second-in-command. This is not a standard site manager position. We are looking for someone who can help lead the business, oversee multiple projects, manage teams, maintain high standards and support the continued growth of the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, with the authority to make decisions and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. Responsibilities: Managing roofing projects from start to completion. Leading roofing teams and subcontractors. Scheduling labour, materials and plant. Site inspections and quality control. Health and safety compliance. Client liaison and problem solving. Supporting estimating and project planning. Helping drive company growth and profitability. Essential Requirements: Significant roofing industry experience. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills. Full UK driving licence. Good understanding of pitched, flat and domestic roofing systems. Ideal Candidate: Ambitious and career-driven. Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions.
