Self-Employed Window and Door Fitter

Immediate start available

Location: Covering Berkshire and surrounding areas
Pay: £150.00 to £250.00 per day, depending on experience
Job Type: Self-employed
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

Tailormade Windows & Doors Berkshire Ltd is looking for an experienced Self-Employed Window and Door Fitter to join our team for an immediate start.

We are a well-established local company with an excellent reputation for quality workmanship, honest advice and friendly customer care. With over 200 reviews and a 9.9 Checkatrade rating, we are proud that so much of our work comes through customer recommendations and word of mouth.

This role would suit a skilled, reliable and professional fitter who takes pride in their work and is confident working in customers’ homes to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Install windows and doors efficiently, safely and to a high standard
Work with uPVC, aluminium and composite products
Remove old windows and doors carefully and prepare openings for new installations
Ensure all installations are secure, neat and completed in line with relevant building standards
Carry out minor adjustments where required to ensure windows and doors operate correctly
Communicate professionally with customers and the Tailormade team
Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe
Work independently or alongside other members of the team to complete jobs on time

Requirements

Proven experience fitting windows and doors
Full UK driving licence, essential
Good knowledge of installation methods, tools and materials
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail in measuring and fitting processes
Pride in quality workmanship and a professional finish
Reliable, professional and able to work well with customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own tools preferred
Good understanding of site safety and working in customers’ homes

Pay and Schedule

£150.00 to £250.00 per day, depending on experience
Self-employed role
Monday to Friday
Immediate start available
Work location: In person, covering Berkshire and surrounding areas
