We are looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our team to work alongside our current Treatment Coordinator.
Ideally, you should have some previous experience in dentistry, as a dental receptionist.

We have been recognised for our Practice Brand & Design, our contribution to Charity and Community and our Team ethos. Our Practice Principal has been selected as a finalist in the Best Practice Principal category at the Private Dentistry Awards for the last 3 years.

Heronsgate Dental & Facial and Clocktower Dental have over 2200 5-star Google reviews. Our reviews attract new patients from an ever-widening area. We pride ourselves on our patient care and attention to detail, providing excellent treatment and customer service.

We offer general, cosmetic and specialist dental treatments, along with facial aesthetics treatments. All of our dentists and specialists have undertaken extensive training to provide the highest quality.

Our practice is a short walk from Royal Arsenal Station in Woolwich, and has been recently renovated and expanded to include 2 new surgeries and dedicated Facial Aesthetics suite.

We’re looking for the right person who is enthusiastic, organised and has a great ability to engage with our patients and manage others. The right person will be self-motivated, committed, an excellent communicator and have a good ability to use their initiative.

Requirements:

Previous Dental Reception training is preferable
Demonstration of your ability to build a rapport with patients and team members
Previous experience or knowledge of working within the Dental industry, including dental treatments is preferable (i.e. Dental Nurse, Dental Receptionist)
An excellent team player and able to communicate in an effective way
Some experience of managing a small team or individuals if preferred
A friendly, approachable and professional who is driven to developing in a fast-paced environment

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Engaging with our patients to help them feel welcome and relaxed at our practice
Be one of the first points of contact between our patients and the practice
Supporting the patient journey including treatment planning
Support the dentists with treatment coordination of key treatments, including Implants and Invisalign
Interacting with our patients over the phone and face-to-face to answer their queries and gather patient feedback and reviews
Overall management of the reception desk, including the appointment booking system, ensuring it is efficient and accurate
Responsible for maintaining, implementing and improving day-to-day processes and policies
Reporting directly to the Practice Owner when required
Day-to-day management of the appointment diaries, supported by the Practice Coordinator
Completion of appropriate paperwork in an organised manner
Responsible for maintaining correct stock levels, including ordering where required
Any other administration duties required to be carried out with the direction of line managers

Training:

You will be enrolled in a training course run by a leader in the field, Chris Barrow, which is designed to enhance and develop your skills

Due to practice growth and expansion, there is future potential to develop into a Deputy Practice Manager role for the right person.
