Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Woodford Green)

£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Day/Night shifts available

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a range of clients in Woodford Green. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own homes.

This is a meaningful 2:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client
Our client is a sociable adult who lives at home with her family, she is very enthusiastic and passionate about meeting new people . She enjoys watching soaps and spending time with her family.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

Oxygen saturation monitoring
Infection control
Airway management
Hoisting
Ventilation support
Repositioning
Residential home experience
Moving and handling
Personal care
Medication support

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.

Weekdays shifts
Minimum 3 Days a week
10-hour shift or shorter calls
Driver requirements if applicable or local to the area of work
Regular pattern (e.g., every Saturday and Sunday)

What the Role Involves

Delivering compassionate 2:1 care in the client’s home
Supporting Client with cooking fresh meals
Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting people with complex needs
Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)
Strong communication and reliability
Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values
Ability to work independently and professionally
Experience up to 5 years in care settings within the UK

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.

Referral Bonus

£150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
£250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
