Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations. The role is suitable for individuals passionate about hospitality, food preparation, and working in a dynamic team setting.

Duties

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Supporting the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen workspace, including clearing work surfaces and storage areas
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health and safety regulations
Restocking supplies and ensuring that cleaning materials are readily available for team members
Maintaining a tidy and safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Supporting the overall efficiency of the kitchen during service periods by providing timely assistance where needed

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or hotel will be beneficial
Knowledge of health and safety standards within a kitchen setting is preferred but not mandatory
A proactive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for success in this role

Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
