Full job description

Front of House Supervisor
The Three Horseshoes Hotel, Barnard Castle

The Three Horseshoes Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and punctual individual to join our front of house team with an immediate start.

This is a hands-on role covering both our bar and restaurant operations. Previous experience in a similar hospitality environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week (more hours may be available for the right candidate)
Pay: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, with higher rates negotiable depending on experience

Main Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service in the bar and restaurant
Taking food and drink orders
Taking accommodation and restaurant bookings
Supervising staff and supporting daily operations
Cash handling, petty cash and end-of-day banking procedures
Opening and closing the business when required
Ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times
Assisting with other duties as required

Reliable and flexible approach to work
Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends
A driving licence and own transport would be advantageous due to our location
