Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Sales & Surveying Coordinator to support the continued growth of the business across Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, and Insulation measures. The role is responsible for managing freelance lead generators, coordinating surveys, assisting the sales team in driving conversions, and ensuring a seamless transition from enquiry through to installation.
Working closely with Sales, Surveying, and Installation teams, the Sales & Surveying Coordinator will play a key role in increasing sales volume, maintaining a positive customer experience, and ensuring projects progress efficiently from lead generation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Business Growth
- Support the Sales Team in achieving business targets and driving sales volume.
- Assist with progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline and increasing conversion rates.
- Follow up quotations and customer enquiries to help secure sales and maximise close rates.
- Monitor pipeline activity and identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports and updates.
Lead Generation Management
- Manage relationships with freelance lead generators and external marketing partners.
- Monitor lead quality, conversion rates, and overall performance.
- Ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads into the business.
- Provide feedback and support to lead generation partners to maximise results.
- Develop strategies to increase lead volume and improve return on investment.
Survey Coordination
- Arrange and schedule surveys for Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, and Insulation projects.
- Coordinate surveyor diaries and maximise utilisation.
- Ensure customers are kept informed throughout the survey process.
- Prepare and issue survey information and documentation to surveyors.
- Maintain records of completed surveys and ensure information is transferred accurately to the sales and design teams.
Installation Coordination
- Liaise closely with the Installation Department to secure suitable installation dates.
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations.
- Keep customers informed of project progress and expected installation timelines.
- Assist in resolving any issues that may impact project delivery or customer satisfaction.
Customer Experience
- Act as a point of contact for customers throughout the sales and survey process.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively manage customer expectations and respond promptly to enquiries.
Continuous Improvement
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Surveying, Design, and Operations teams to improve processes and maximise efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales performance and improve customer journeys.
- Contribute to achieving company growth objectives and maintaining industry-leading standards.
Skills and Experience Essential
- Previous experience in sales coordination, customer service, scheduling, or administration.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM systems.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience within the renewable energy, heating, or construction sectors.
- Knowledge of Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, and Insulation measures.
- Experience managing external lead generation partners or appointment setters.
- Understanding of MCS, PAS 2030/2035, or TrustMark requirements.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
