Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an organised, positive and customer‑focused individual to join our optical/audiology hub as a Customer Service & Administration Assistant. This role is perfect for someone with call centre or admin experience who enjoys working in a busy, people‑centred environment — and is happy to have Saturdays as part of their regular working pattern.

You’ll be joining a supportive, motivated team in a workplace recognised as a Great Place to Work, offering enhanced wellbeing, development and staff experience as part of our people‑first culture.

Key Responsibilities

Answer patient calls with professionalism, care and confidence
Manage appointment bookings, diary changes and patient queries
Maintain accurate patient information and system updates
Support the wider hub with daily administrative duties
Communicate clearly with colleagues, clinical teams and patients
Contribute to smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced hub

Skills & Experience

Previous call centre, customer service or administration experience (required)
Excellent spoken communication and a friendly phone manner
Ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Confident using computer systems and booking software
Positive, proactive and committed to great service
Comfortable working regular Saturdays
