Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, ensuring consistency across all dishes
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauté stations, ensuring efficient workflow
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are available for service
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
Adhere strictly to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring presentation meets company standards

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel environment
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
Knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
