Here, at GXO, we're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused HR Administrator to join our HR team at our ASOS Barnsley operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a busy HR function, supporting colleagues and managers across the site while helping to drive engagement, compliance and operational excellence. You'll play an important role in maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating meetings, supporting payroll processes and delivering an exceptional service to colleagues at every stage of the employee lifecycle.

This is a full-time permanent position. You will be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,500.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including preparing letters, documentation, meeting arrangements and note-taking
Manage the HR inbox, responding to colleague queries professionally and efficiently
Maintain accurate HR records, trackers and systems, ensuring employee data is up to date and compliant
Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, leavers, payroll changes and absence administration
Help deliver colleague engagement initiatives, audits, compliance activities and HR projects across the site

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous HR administration experience within a busy and fast-paced environment
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in everything you do
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence interacting with colleagues at all levels.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team
