Full job description

Care & Contact Team Member

We are a fulfilment centre located in Witheridge, North Devon and are looking for a member to join our Care & Contact Team that will act as the liaison between our company, our clients and their customers. The successful candidate will be able to deal with a variety of queries, complaints and enquiries in a professional and polite manner. They will accept ownership for effectively solving customer queries and will also keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails in a timely manner
Raising support tickets to enable tracking and resolution of customer requests
Identify customers’ needs, investigate and resolve by offering solutions and/or alternatives in an accurate and efficient response
Provide detailed information on our clients’ products
Build sustainable relationships with our clients and engage customers by ‘going the extra mile’
Keep records of all conversations within our database in a comprehensible way
Offer assistance to clients and their customers who may be having issues
Frequently attend training sessions to improve knowledge and performance level
Work as part of a team to resolve client/customer issues
Assist in other areas of the team as and when required

Requirements and Skills:

Strong phone and verbal communication skills required along with good listening skills to gain a better understanding of the clients’ needs
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task and set priorities
Proficiency with computers, software and strong typing skills
Strong time management and decision making skills
Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Whilst experience in previous customer service/support roles would be an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be given.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
