Office Administrator

Fremington Manor Care Home – Fremington, North Devon

Opening Soon – Join Our New Team!

Fremington Manor Care Home is preparing to reopen and we are looking for an organised, professional, and friendly Office Administrator to help establish and support our brand-new care home team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly opening service, helping to create a welcoming environment for our residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues from day one.

The Role

As Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home's administration. You will provide efficient administrative support to the Home Manager while delivering a warm and professional first impression to everyone who visits or contacts the home.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome residents, families, visitors, and professionals to the home.
Manage telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
Maintain accurate resident and staff records.
Support payroll, invoicing, petty cash, and purchase orders.
Coordinate staff files, training records, and recruitment administration.
Order office supplies and maintain stock levels.
Assist with admissions paperwork and compliance documentation.
Schedule meetings and maintain diaries.
Ensure all records are maintained in line with GDPR and company policies.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
Can work independently while supporting a busy management team.
Has strong attention to detail and a professional, caring approach.
Previous experience within a care home or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
