Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and committed to fostering their growth and learning in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children in the nursery environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Support children's individual needs through personalised care and attention.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and early education programmes.
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
Uphold nursery policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to ongoing training programmes to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages.
Knowledge of childcare best practices, child development principles, and early childhood education methodologies.
Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner).
Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and organisational
