Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing and joinery processes.

Responsibilities

Programme using AlphaCAM from CAD drawings
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC machine.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks as needed..
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC programming and operation within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tooling selection, and setup procedures.
Strong understanding of basic math principles relevant to machining tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently. This role offers an engaging opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to advance their expertise in CNC machining within a supportive company environment committed to quality craftsmanship.
