About the Role

Appmetric Software Limited is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships and support the company’s continued revenue growth.

The successful candidate will manage the business development cycle from market research and lead generation through to client presentations, commercial negotiations and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.

* Research prospective clients, industry developments and competitor activity.

* Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, referrals and digital channels.

* Contact prospective clients and assess their operational and commercial requirements.

* Present the company’s services and solutions to potential clients.

* Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and sales presentations.

* Manage opportunities from initial contact through to agreement and onboarding.

* Maintain regular communication and follow up with prospective clients.

* Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved parameters.

* Build and maintain productive relationships with new and existing clients.

* Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals and sales activity.

* Monitor the sales pipeline and report progress to senior management.

* Achieve agreed client-acquisition, conversion and revenue targets.

* Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure an effective client handover.

Requirements

* Degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, sales, management or a related discipline.

* Experience in business development, B2B sales, account management or client acquisition.

* Proven ability to generate leads and maintain a commercial sales pipeline.

* Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

* Ability to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

* Target-driven, commercially aware and results-focused.

* Strong planning, organisation and relationship-management capabilities.

* Experience using CRM systems and standard business software.

* Professional, proactive and resilient approach.

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
