Care Assistant - Benfleet

*£250 joining bonus in September!*

Salary: Care Assistant - £13.90-£14.65 per hour

Mileage: 45p per mile

Areas: This role covers areas Benfleet, Basildon, Canvey Island, Wickford and Rayleigh.

As a thank you for choosing to start your career with us, we're offering a £250 New Starter Bonus to all Care Assistants who commence employment in September.

Pay breakdown and shift patterns:

Daytime shifts 7am-4pm, evening shifts 4pm-10pm.
You will be required to work alternate weekends.
£13.90 day, £14.15 evening, £14.40 weekend day, £14.65 weekend evening.
We work our shift patterns around your availability!

About the role:

As a senior community care assistant, you will care for adults in their own homes to provide practical, physical, emotional, and social support to service users to achieve their desired outcomes. Where required, this includes supporting customers with personal care tasks, such as food and fluids, toileting, and bathing, as well as medication and domestic duties whilst ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times.

What we're looking for:

2 years experience delivering care
NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care desirable but not essential
Driving license: You must have a UK driving license and your own car with business insurance.
Flexibility: You should be comfortable to work a mixture of daytimes, evenings, and alternate weekends.
Kindness and compassion: A caring and supportive individual who is passionate about providing a high-level care and support to vulnerable people.
Communication skills: You must be able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
