Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef / Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. Duties
- Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences, emphasizing quality and presentation.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory control and food production processes to optimize costs, reduce waste, and maintain consistent quality across all offerings.
- Oversee staffing schedules, shift management, and team supervision to foster a motivated, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Implement training programs for kitchen staff on food safety protocols, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics, address operational challenges promptly, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining settings; banquet experience is highly desirable.
- Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in food management including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations; certification in food handling or safety preferred.
- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles with a focus on food service management and catering operations.
