Phlebotomist

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and skilled phlebotomist to join our amazing team.

The successful candidate will be looking for a minimum of 22 hours per week, with a degree of flexibility.

Has relevant phlebotomy training and experience
Can provide a vital role in supporting patient diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care

What you will be doing...

Delivering a high-quality phlebotomy service to a diverse patient population
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all documentation is completed to the highest standard
Managing your appointments effectively, and contributing to the smooth running of clinics
Working collaboratively with the wider practice team
Adhering to infection prevention and control procedures, health and safety requirements, and professional standards
Responding professionally to changing priorities and service demands while maintaining a calm, patient focused approach
Contributing to the continuous improvement of services and helping to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and service.

What you need...

Qualifications

Recognised training and competency in phlebotomy

Experience

Experience of Phlebotomy
Experience of using EMIS Web
Experience of working in Primary Care

Commitment to ensuring equity of access to health care for all
Ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness and common sense
