Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through efficient handling, storage, and distribution. Your proactive approach will help us maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. Responsibilities

Handle materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual tools to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipping & receiving documentation
Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch and delivery to customers or internal departments
Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organization for easy access and inventory control
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing goods for shipment, verifying orders, and managing inbound deliveries

Requirements

Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting
Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred)
Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
