Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management and public relations within a vibrant organisation. The successful candidate will assist in developing engaging content, managing our online presence, and supporting our brand’s communication strategies. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital marketing and eager to build their skills in a professional environment.

Duties

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across various social media platforms
Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments or messages in a timely manner
Support the development of social media campaigns aligned with organisational goals
Analyse social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements
Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity online
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas for digital content
Support public relations initiatives by engaging with online communities and influencers
Conduct research on current social media trends and best practices to enhance our digital presence

Skills

Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing
Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail
Basic understanding of public relations principles and strategies
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Ability to analyse data using social media analytics tools is a plus
Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
