Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Night Porter, where your energy and hospitality skills will ensure a welcoming, safe, and seamless experience for our guests during the overnight hours. This vital role involves maintaining security, assisting guests with their needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. If you thrive in a lively environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, this is your opportunity to shine in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during the night shift, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
Monitor hotel premises through CCTV surveillance and conduct regular patrols to uphold safety and security standards.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or concerns with a positive attitude and effective problem-solving.
Manage access control for staff, visitors, and contractors, maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits.
Support emergency procedures by coordinating with local authorities and providing assistance as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas such as reception, corridors, and lobby spaces during quiet periods.
Complete detailed shift reports documenting incidents, security checks, and guest interactions to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
Set up for upcoming events using detailed plans given to you by either management or wedding coordinator

Skills

Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand guest expectations and operational procedures.
Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest services to create a welcoming environment.
Excellent observational skills for security monitoring and identifying potential issues proactively.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling emergencies or difficult situations professionally.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced, lively hotel environment committed to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
