Job description:
Transport Company based in Wymbush, Milton Keynes.
We are currently looking for a Driver's mate (with CSCS) to join our team.
Working hours: Monday - Friday (early starts, between 4am-7am), up to 15hrs working day (max), 48hrs per week on average over 26-week reference period, permanent contract. Occasional overtime available at weekends, or overnight and paid at a premium rate.
Experience: At least 6 months' of driver’s mate experience, loading and unloading vans and lorries with ratchet straps and the use of a tail lift, pallet trucks, sack barrows.
Daily duties: Assisting with nationwide deliveries and collections of catering equipment, some heavy lifting involved. Customer calls to advise on ETA. Assisting with loading/unloading of vans and lorries.
Full training and uniform will be provided.
CSCS labourer card is required.
Drug and Alcohol test and DBS check (unspent criminal convictions) will be completed at the start of employment.
