Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs of various breeds and sizes
Assess each dog’s coat condition and determine appropriate grooming techniques and products
Handle dogs with care, patience, and professionalism to ensure a stress-free experience
Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery and customer satisfaction
Keep detailed records of each dog’s grooming history and any special requirements or health considerations

Skills

Proven experience in dog grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific styles and grooming techniques
Knowledge of animal care practices, including handling animals safely and compassionately

Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle larger dogs or equipment safely
