Full job description

The Mariner is looking for a chef to join our team! Our venue offers the perfect blend of a welcoming, community-focused pub and dining room dedicated to local, seasonal produce. We're all about quality, value, and exceptional hospitality.

This role will be hourly with a mutually agreed minimum hours contract, perfect to achieve a role in a positive kitchen environment whilst maintaining work:life balance.

Responsibilities

Work with the team to deliver daily food operations and ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness and quality.
Deliver impeccable food preparation and service, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Understand customer/management feedback and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
Implement and uphold hospitality standards to provide an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant or pub kitchen environment, preparing and cooking dishes.
Culinary and food safety knowledge.
