We’re expanding our community-based services across Belfast and are looking for a compassionate, skilled Podiatrist to provide high-quality foot care within elderly care and nursing homes.

If you’re passionate about supporting older adults, preventing complications and delivering person-centred care, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As a Field-Based Podiatrist, you’ll provide essential foot care services to residents in nursing homes and care facilities across London, helping maintain mobility, comfort and dignity.

Deliver routine and specialist podiatry treatments within nursing homes and residential care settings
Provide nail care, management of corns, callus and thickened nails
Support high-risk residents, including those with diabetes, vascular conditions and reduced mobility
Conduct foot health assessments and identify early signs of deterioration or infection
Develop preventative care plans to reduce the risk of ulcers, falls and avoidable complications
Recognise red flags and escalate concerns appropriately to GPs or specialist services
Work collaboratively with care home teams and wider healthcare professionals
Educate carers and residents on foot health, hygiene and preventative care
Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical records
Deliver a calm, respectful and compassionate resident experience

What You Bring

HCPC-registered Podiatrist (active registration)
Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience preferred
Experience in community, elderly care or high-risk foot care settings desirable
Strong clinical assessment and hands-on treatment skills
Understanding of diabetic foot care, pressure prevention and mobility-related risks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Full UK driving licence preferred
Commitment to dignity, safeguarding and high-quality patient care
