The RGM Group are growing and are seeking suitably experienced Sheet Metal Skilled and Semi-skilled Craftsmen for our workshop in Ballynure, Co Antrim...
Main purpose of job role:
· Provide a ductwork manufacture service to the RGM business
Reporting to the Workshop Manager the key tasks will include, but are not limited to:
· Manufacture of ductwork to the HVAC DW144 standard as issued from technical drawings
· Competently use the guillotine, plasma, brake press, steel worker and henrod
· Instruct designated Workshop Trainee
· Liaise with other key personnel to ensure a smooth manufacture process
· Work closely with Workshop Manager to resolve manufacture issues
· Proactive approach to H&S ensuring the safety of self and others is always paramount
Essential requirements for the role:
· Previous sheet metal manufacture experience
· Ability to read CAD generated technical drawings
· Flexibility to work overtime
Desirable requirements for the role:
· Supervision of staff
· Attainment of relevant training
· Fork lift licence
Salary dependent on experience | In-house NVQ programme offered | 38 hour working week with early finish Friday | overtime rates available
