Part-Time Barista /All Rounder

This role involves preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every customer. You will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the café and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Ensure drinks are prepared to company quality standards and customer preferences
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, greeting customers and assisting with their needs
- Maintain a clean and organised coffee station and dining area
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items as required
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as assembling light snacks or organising food displays
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining service quality
Requirements
- Weekend availability is essential
- Flexibility is a key requirement for this role. Candidates must be available to work Monday to Wednesday, as well as either Monday, Tuesday, and one weekend day.
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided
- Experience working in a customer-facing or fast-paced environment is an advantage
- Basic food preparation knowledge is helpful
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is beneficial
