Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional and well-maintained workspace. This is initially a maternity cover position, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. Candidate will work Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm this is a Maternity cover role with the potential to have a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect all office surfaces, including desks, tables, and workstations
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across various office areas
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in restrooms and kitchens
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas including reception, meeting rooms, and break rooms
Ensure restrooms are sanitised and fully stocked at all times
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or hazards in the workplace
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, or lifting light equipment

Pay: £12.91 per hour
