Responsibilities

Support residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, always respecting their preferences and dignity
Assist in developing and following personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare professionals
Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Ability to operate IT systems for documentation and care planning purpose
Experience working in a care home is preferred but not essential—training will be provided if needed
Knowledge of creating and following care plans to ensure consistent support tailored to individual needs
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
Good understanding of health and safety standards within healthcare environments
