Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Week 1: 4 on 2 off, Week 2: 4 on 2 off, Week 3: 5 on 2 off
Location: Motherwell Food Park, Bellshill, ML4 3NW

We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the delivery of Next Home furnishings safely and on time while helping to create a great experience for our customers.

✅ A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Working as part of a two-person delivery team, helping to deliver Next Home furnishings directly to customers' homes.
Assisting with the loading, unloading, and safe handling of home furnishing products ranging from 5kg to 120kg.
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery and acting as a brand ambassador for DHL and Next.
Staying in contact with the transport team and completing delivery updates using handheld technology.
Supporting the driver to complete between 10 and 40 deliveries per day while following all health and safety procedures.

✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Are physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling throughout the day.
Enjoy working in a customer-facing role and providing excellent service.
Work well as part of a team and have a positive, can-do attitude.
Can manage their workload effectively and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Have previous home delivery, warehouse, retail, or Driver's Mate experience, although full training will be provided.
