Full job description

Senior Sous Chef

Brief:

We are looking for a driven, energetic Senior Sous chef to support our new kitchen team at

Inverlonan. We are creating a small, 24-seat, wood-fired kitchen & dining experience on the

west coast of Scotland. Our self-sustainable organic farm supports our operation, with food

that embodies our location and philosophy of living within the landscape.

Prior experience at Michelin/Bib Gormand level is preferred, although not essential.

Knowledge of wood-fire cooking would be useful, but again not essential.

The role requires a strong sense of leadership, excellent culinary skills, attention to detail,

and the ability to maintain high standards in a unique environment. The Senior Sous Chef

will play a key role in managing the food & beverage operation, ensuring consistency in food

quality, and upholding health and safety standards.

Successful applicants will of course have the pre-requisite skills and experience, but far

more important than this is a willingness and desire to support our drive forward. A relaxed

but professional approach is needed, along with a humble confidence in their abilities.

Accommodation available. Couples welcome! Job opportunities available for partner.

Working Hours:

Minimum of 45hrs over five days, 2 days off together.

Holiday:

33 days per calendar year, with 15 days to be taken in January closure

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
