About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time Optical Receptionist to join us in delivering outstanding patient care, 3-4 days per week.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, our ideal candidate takes pride in offering honest advice, building trust with patients, and being part of a team that delivers a quality service while supporting one another. You'll have the time, tools, and encouragement to do your job to a high standard, without feeling rushed or pressured. Collaboration is a big part of how we work, so you'll play a key role in making sure every patient has a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

As a Receptionist in our practice, you'll have the opportunity to explore different avenues within the industry and a wider purpose and responsibility within your role, being part of the patient journey from start to finish. You'll also assist with day-to-day practice tasks, contribute to the upkeep of displays and equipment, and be a friendly, reliable point of contact for both patients and colleagues. Above all, you'll bring a genuine interest in people, an eye for detail, and a can-do attitude to every part of your day.

Additional Information:

This role is ideal for someone with or without previous experience working in optics
Opening hours are 9-5:30 pm with 1 hour lunch
We are a team of 5
This role requires you to work Mondays-Wednesday, and if you would prefer to work 4 days a week, Thursdays. We might require you to work an odd Friday or Saturday if we are in need of cover
Salary: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
