Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our hospitality operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the laundering and maintenance of linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items essential to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure that all laundry tasks are completed promptly, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and hygiene. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a vibrant team committed to excellence in hospitality.

Duties

Operate commercial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment with precision and care.
Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Inspect linens and fabrics for stains, tears, or damage; report or replace items as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following sanitation standards and organizational procedures.
Assist in folding, packaging, and storing clean linens for distribution across hotel departments.
Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or special fabrics to prevent damage.
Support inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
A proactive attitude with good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
