Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. As a Roofer/Labourer, you will assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs while supporting various construction tasks. Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
Follow detailed schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise work execution
Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools to create custom roofing components when necessary
Support heavy lifting and material handling to transport shingles, metal sheets, and other roofing materials safely
Use plumbing, masonry, and carpentry skills to prepare surfaces and ensure structural integrity of roofing projects
Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly storing tools and disposing of debris
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Experience with roofing installation, repair, or maintenance is highly desirable
Strong construction background including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general building practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
Familiarity with safety standards related to roofing and construction sites
