Full job description

Care Pro South East are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living team. You will provide person-centred support to adults with a range of complex needs, helping them to live as independently as possible while maintaining their safety, dignity, and wellbeing.

The individuals we support may have:

Mental health conditions
Learning disabilities
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
ADHD
Eating disorders
Histories of self-harm and emotional dysregulation
Complex behavioural and emotional support needs

Every day is different, and you will play a vital role in empowering people to achieve their goals, develop life skills, and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
Support individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, budgeting, shopping, and household management.
Assist individuals to attend appointments, social activities, education, and employment opportunities.
Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
Support individuals experiencing mental health challenges, emotional distress, or self-harming behaviours using positive behaviour support approaches.
Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain accurate records and complete daily documentation.
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
Support individuals with medication in line with company policies and training.

Able to maintain professional boundaries while building meaningful relationships.
Excellent communicators with strong teamwork skills.
Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Previous experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
