The Role
This is a full-time, office-based position located in Eastbourne.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for managing client campaigns, identifying opportunities and engaging with senior decision-makers across a range of industries.
You will represent respected organisations, initiate commercial conversations and secure qualified meetings that create genuine business opportunities for our clients.
Every day is different. One week you may be supporting a fire safety consultancy, the next an engineering business, technology company or professional services firm.
You will receive full training, ongoing coaching and support from an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional outbound business development calls
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers
- Secure qualified meetings and opportunities for clients
- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities
- Manage activity and pipelines using CRM systems
- Maintain accurate records and campaign information
- Follow up leads generated through events, referrals and marketing activity
- Support strategic outreach campaigns
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve client objectives
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, activity and service delivery

Important Information About the Role
This is not a field sales position.
The role is office-based and focused on professional business development through telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach.
You will be responsible for opening conversations, building relationships and securing qualified meetings for clients.
You will not be required to travel to client meetings or close sales. Once a meeting has been arranged, the opportunity is handed over to the client to progress.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, communicating professionally and playing an important part in helping businesses grow.
