Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking new operatives for our residential sites in Tunbridge Wells, including Handymen/Multitraders/General Labourers/Second Fix Carpenters to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. This role involves supporting various construction trades, requiring a proactive approach and a broad skill set.

Long term work available for the right candidates. Must be punctual, committed and proactive.

Responsibilities

Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and general construction tasks as required
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks
Assisting with general labour duties such as site clearance, material handling, and site organisation
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

Previous experience on residential building sites.
Previous experience working in carpentry, roofing, drylining is preferable.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
Ability to undertake physical labour including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills across multiple trades
Valid relevant certifications or licences are a plus but not essential
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour
