We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Bexleyheath Academy team based in Woolwich Road.

Location: Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00

Join our dedicated team at Bexleyheath Academy, where you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the daily experience of everyone who uses the building, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and contributing to the health and well-being of the whole community.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Cleaning Supervisor team, supporting them in maintaining exceptional standards across the academy. Your day to day will include:

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors across classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces
Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and refilling supplies
Dusting surfaces and high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and desks
Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste
Responding promptly to spills and assisting with deep cleaning tasks when required

What are we looking for?

This role of Cleaner is great for you if:

You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, or commercial building
You understand health and safety requirements, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
You can work independently and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
You're reliable, organised, and able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
