Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Service Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing customer interactions, coordinating service appointments, and supporting the overall efficiency of our service department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional service and support.
Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
Upsell additional services or products where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and billing information.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Support the team with administrative tasks such as data entry, and report generation.
Provide mechanical knowledge when necessary to assist with basic troubleshooting or customer queries related to services offered.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles within a similar environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is important.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a high level of independence when required. This role offers an engaging work environment where your organisational skills and customer service expertise will be valued and developed further. Experience with a fire extinguisher company or previous knowledge of the Uptick service software is desirable but not essential.
