Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across one allocated premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas regularly.
Handle specialised cleaning tasks in accordance with client requirements, including window cleaning and surface polishing.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or hazards.
Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests from clients or management.
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or guests when required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards.
Basic cooking skills are considered a plus for roles involving hospitality environments.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if necessary.
A positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.
