Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice, contributing to a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about services and procedures.
Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries in a professional manner.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support during procedures as needed.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and waiting room.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.
