Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional drinks while providing outstanding customer service. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and satisfied during their visit.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including ordering stock as necessary.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or within a restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
Understanding of food safety practices relevant to the hospitality industry.
Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine passion for hospitality and providing an outstanding guest experience.
