Every young person deserves a teacher who refuses to give up on them.

At Venture Independent School, we are building something different.

We are a new, specialist independent school for young people who have found mainstream education difficult due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, neurodivergence, trauma, or emotionally based school avoidance. Many of our pupils have experienced significant barriers to learning and need adults who can see beyond behaviour, recognise potential, and help them believe in themselves again.

We are seeking an exceptional teacher who is motivated not simply by academic outcomes, but by the opportunity to transform lives.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, ambitious school at the beginning of its journey and help shape a learning environment where relationships come first, wellbeing matters, and every success is celebrated.

Experience within SEMH, SEND, Alternative Provision or specialist settings would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in outstanding teachers who share our values and are passionate about making a difference.
