About the Role
We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and proactive Junior Project Manager to join our Project Management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in project management within the telecoms and software industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our organisation's success by overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of various projects from inception to completion. This position demands strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Working as part of our international Project Management team, you’ll be working closely with many departments within the business to collaborate and strive to deliver some of our latest and greatest software to our international customer base.

Responsibilities
Project Support
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning, coordination and delivery of customer projects.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, action logs and documentation.
- Track project progress and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Organising project meetings and workshops.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Provide clear and professional communication with project stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and reviews.
- Take meeting notes, capture actions and help ensure follow-up activities are completed.
- Risk and Issue management
Project Coordination
- Coordinate activities across multiple departments to keep projects moving.
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
- Assist with resource planning and scheduling.
- Support testing, deployments and customer onboarding activities where required.
Quality Assurance and Governance
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.
- Ensure adherance to project management methodologies and best practices.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, status reports and financial tracking.
- Produce regular progress reports for senior management and customers.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to contintuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Look for opportunities to improve project processes and ways of working.
- Make effective use of AI tools to improve productivity, organisation and project delivery.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute ideas to improve future projects.
- Continue developing your project management knowledge and skills.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working with people across different teams and departments.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- An interest in project management and technology.
- Enthusiastic about using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
- A positive, adaptable and collaborative approach to work.
- A driven, confident and hardworking team player.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (must have lived and worked in the UK for at least five years, excluding periods spent studying).
Desirable
- Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, Computer Science or a related subject.
- Previous experience in a project coordination, administration or customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of project management principles or methodologies (PRINCE2 Foundation or similar is advantageous but not essential).
- Experience working within telecoms, software or technology environments.
- Experience working with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar.
