We are looking for an experienced Teacher of Maths to join our team at Willenhall E-ACT Academy. The purpose of this role is to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving our students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Faculty, this post holder will be accountable for

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support students of varying abilities in developing strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and provide targeted support and intervention where needed.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations, good behaviour, and a passion for learning mathematics.
Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations, ensuring they are confident in applying mathematical concepts and techniques.
Contribute to the wider school community, including participating in departmental planning, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.

Pay range:

MPS/UPS: £32,916 - £51,048

TLR available for the right candidate and experience

Permanent post

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
Degree in subject specialism
Ability to teach ‘good or outstanding’ lessons
Effective classroom management
