Assistant Director of HR — West Midlands (Hybrid)

The rewards

£700 – £800 per day
Minimum 2 days per week in West Midlands
6-month interim contract

Hours

Interim contract — minimum 2 days per week on-site in West Midlands

The role of Assistant Director of HR:

Lead the development and delivery of the organisation-wide Reward & Recognition strategy
Oversee job evaluation, equal pay risk and reward frameworks
Provide expert leadership on pay policy, compliance and employment legislation
Lead on complex workforce cost modelling and reward insight
Manage collective bargaining and negotiations with Trade Unions
Drive continuous improvement across reward, compliance and policy
Deputise for the Director of Industrial & Employee Relations as required

The ideal Assistant Director of HR:

Significant senior experience in reward, pay or recognition in a large, complex organisation
Deep knowledge of equal pay, job evaluation and employment law
Strong track record in leading and managing risk in reward frameworks
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience
